Hands-on course about prophylactic mastectomy and immediate reconstruction techniques. The two most widely used techniques in clinical practice will be presented by experienced surgeons. Attendees will be able to actively participate in the surgical procedures.
- Due to the spatial limitations of the OR only 4 participants will be accepted.
- Aimed at surgeons and residents in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Gynecology.
- The registration payment includes the participation in the sessions, lunch and diploma.
Schedule
8.00 h. Reception at the Surgery secretariat (2nd floor, Clinical University Hospital)
8.30 h. First presentation: Prophylactic mastectomy and salpingo-oophorectomy with the Spira technique
12.00 h. Second presentation: Subcutaneous prophylactic mastectomy: reconstruction with implant
15.00 h. Closure and lunch at the hospital
