5th Annual Meeting AECIMA*

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will be hosting the 5th Meeting of the Spanish Association of Breast Surgeons (AECIMA), which will take place on 13 and 14 May 2016 at the Alfredo Kraus Convention Centre in the Canary Islands capital. The event will be organised by Dr. Víctor Vega Benítez, Surgeon responsible for the Breast Diseases Unit at the University Hospital of Gran Canaria.

The specialists visiting the capital city of Gran Canaria will discuss topics such as partial breast radiotherapy, breast reconstruction, controversial areas in the handling of high-risk patients or quality control in breast surgery.

In addition, the 5th AECIMA Annual Meeting will receive Dr. Henry Kuerer,Professor of Surgery and Director of the Breast Surgical Oncology Training Program, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
