GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: ORAL COMUNICATION, POSTER AND VIDEOS
1. The abstracts must be submitted to the technical secretary of AECIMA, e-mail: info@aecima.com. The mail must contain the data of the person who will present the oral or poster communication workshop or the video presentation. Once it’s accepted, the author in charge must register to attend the IV AECIMA Annual Meeting.
2. The abstract must contain the following data:
- Name and surname of the person that will present the communication workshop
- State
- Hospital
- Phone number
- Type of communication workshop: poster/ oral / video
- Authors (First surname and name’s acronym)
- Title
- Abstract (max 400 words)
3. The acceptance or rejection’s notification will be send to the e-mail given by the author in charge
4. In case the work is accepted, the e-mail will inform also about the day, hour and place of the exposition.
5. The time assigned for each oral communication workshop is 6 minutes plus 2 minutes for the discussion. The accepted oral communications will be presented with a power point, that must be sent to info@aecima.com before April 30, 2015.
6. Poster communication must have the following dimensions: 100 cm long x 65 cm wide. Posters must be brought already printed to the Hospedería del Colegio Fonseca, at May 8, from 9.00 AM. A digital pdf copy of the poster will be also send to info@aecima.com, before April 30, 2015.
7. The maximum length of video presentations is 10 minutes. Videos may be formatted in MPEG, AVI, WMV, or QuickTime (MOV) with a maximum resolution of 1280×720. Video presentations must be submitted by we transfer, dropbox or similiars to the Meeting Technical Secretary, info@aecima.com, before April 30.
8. The standards used to evaluate the abstracts will be originality, scientific interest, methodology, and suitable use of the scientific language.
9. Deadline to submit the abstracts: March 31, 2015
