The Spanish Association of Breast Surgeons will have a stand at the annual conference of the Spanish Group of Patients with Cancer (GEPAC), which will be held on November 23-24 at the Fine Arts Circle of Madrid. AECIMA will offer in its stand information on the latest reconstructive and oncoplastic surgery techniques as well as on its activities.
Attendance to the conference is free and includes access to all presentations, workshops and scheduled events. In 2012, the seventh edition of the National Conference for Patients with Cancer hosted 77 presentations and hands-on seminars about 36 types of cancer and the general considerations regarding this disease. The talks were given by 130 speakers, including some of the best specialists in Spain.
Over 2,500 people attended the VII GEPAC Conference, now considered of healthcare interest by the Spanish Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and the Autonomous Community of Madrid. The event was sponsored by 15 scientific societies, including AECIMA.
